Description

This project builds on an award-winning exhibition called Into the Light: Eugenics and Education in Southern Ontario curated by Mona Stonefish, Peter Park, Dolleen Tisawii’ashii Manning, Evadne Kelly, Seika Boye, and Sky Stonefish. It addresses learning challenges in decolonization, anti-racism, and accessibility in educational institutions. The project also addresses histories of Ontario educational institutions producing and disseminating oppressive knowledge and traces those histories to present day inequities and works to counter them.

This is a 2023–2025 project led by InterAccess, in collaboration with Tangled Art + Disability, and FEZIHAUS™.
