Tangled Art + Disability is an arts organization and gallery dedicated to connecting professional and emerging artists, the arts community, and the public through creative passion and artistic excellence. Its mission is to support Disabled, d/Deaf, chronically ill, neurodiverse, k/crip, Mad, sick, and spoonie artists, fostering Disability Arts in Canada and expanding access to the arts for all.
They achieve this by:
—Developing, showcasing, promoting, and employing Disabled artists;
—Forming partnerships and collaborations to create more opportunities for Disabled artists;
—Encouraging Deaf, Mad, and Disability-identified individuals to explore and embrace their creativity;
—Publicly celebrating the diverse talents within the Disability Arts community.
