Indigenous Futures Research Centre (IFRC)

About
The Indigenous Futures Research Centre (IFRC) supports research led by and for Indigenous peoples and communities, grounded in Indigenous knowledge, values, and culture. The Centre responds to community-identified needs, fosters the growth of Indigenous researchers, and welcomes collaborations that prioritize co-generating knowledge of direct use to Indigenous communities. As a space where Indigenous methods of knowledge recovery, discovery, and transmission are respected, IFRC enables faculty and students to learn from one another while advancing diverse approaches—from art and technology making to community-based research, pedagogy, and theory. Its work envisions constructive, critical futures rooted in Indigenous worldviews.
