Description

Performance Space New York (formerly Performance Space 122) is an experimental arts group in the East Village, on the island of Manahatta in Lenapehoking. It started in 1980 and became an important place for queer and radical artists whose voices were left out by mainstream culture and ignored by the government during the early AIDS crisis. Today, it continues to support bold and creative performance across different art forms.
